Not even worth a half star

Just to preface the kind of family we are: our requirements are always that the hotel be clean, comfortable, and reliable, which this place WAS NOT. All the notes I took on how horrible it was: - imagine my surprise when I sat on the toilet AND IT MOVED BENEATH ME - the floor was broken - there was no sink to wash your hands in the washroom - microwave plate and coffee maker did not work - dirty towels AND WET TOWELS hanging behind the door - bed linen was dirty - they gave us a smoking room when we booked a non-smoking room, and double requested non-smoking in the notes for health reasons - the heater was noisy so got barely any sleep - the rooms smelled disgusting and pungent - the curtains were dirty and smelled awful - of the chairs in the room, ONE WAS WET when I sat on it, the other with dirty stains - the blanket was ripped, the carpet was ripped - one of the lights wasn't working - for breakfast: there were slices of bread, cereal, no jam, there was jelly, no butter, some type of spread, machine juice (with a sign that said 'dont fill bottles or jugs') - rude staff - wifi was crappppp and disconnected every other second Thank heavens I only booked it for 1 night. Of the serious discomfort this place was, I considered going to sleep in my car but made it through the night and checked out first thing in the morning. I visit this area every other weekend and book hotels here, but I certainly will NEVER stay here again.

Friendly Staff

Location: Fast food places and other restaurants, gas station, shopping mall
Easy check in, Friendly and knowledgeable staff, Room was comfortable and clean.

Awesome stay.

My visit to the area was due to terminal illnesses of two family members. The first staff member I met at Super 8 was a young lady named Sarah. She was so kind, helpful and welcoming; making us feel right at home. The other staff were great as well. As additional members of my family came and went, everyone was went above and beyond to assist us during this difficult time. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this Super 8 to others as well. THANK YOU SO MUCH to the staff at Super 8 in Bridgeport, WV.

Room keys did not work due to problem with system, given another room that was smokey although I made it clear we did not want a smoking room, someone's underwear still hanging in the bathroom after room had been cleaned, bags of trash left in the stairwell that must not have made it to the dumpster, general condition of the place a little shabby, Looked like maybe a place for the construction workers. For the price of $111 I think we could have done better. I would not return to this particular Super 8 again and would not recommend it.

Awful getaway

Will never go back to this hotel. Will never refer this place to anyone.When we started this getaway we thought we might make it 3 nights instead of just 1,after seeing the condition of the room we decided to just go home.

Nice pet friendly room for the night

I was passing through the area with my dog and needed a room for one night. I was very pleased with the condition of the room and all the amenities it had. It's very close to a large mall and places to eat and, of course, the highway.

Ppl were rude, roads in need of repair(badly) now I know why they call this the poorest state in the union. I've even heard stories of how the politicians are just as crooked as the crooks. Can anything be done for those poor ppl???(no pun intended)
