The room was super clean, the bath room was super clean, bed's comfortable A/C unit working great and easy to to manage.the floor/carpet was also very clean. everyone was very friendly. the place was quiet. “Middleburg is a quaint Virginia town with lots of history, and to stay in this 1800 century cottage added to the entire experience. Tim (owner) is absolutely fabulous and so accommodating. Tim spent time with us (by our request) and gave us the history of the cottage and plantation. The cottage is well stocked, comfortable, and exactly as the pictures show. “The description to this place was misleading. We thought we would have the entire house as it stated however it was a walkout basement with 2 bedrooms. The entrance was in the back of the house with a very dark walkway at night. Beds were not comfortable and seamed smaller than a Queen size bed. I couldnt use the ceiling fan because it had not been dusted in years. Overall the place was good enough because we were gone most of the day.
