"A hotel front desk trainee helped me save my day, and totally changed my preconception of Romania. I arrived at the hotel by taxi. My first thought was th metered rate was very expensive comparing to hotel shuttle. I told the driver that I had to get more cash from the ATM in the hotel and asked him to come in with me. But he said he would wait in his taxi. Got my cash...went to the front desk to leave my baggage and told this lady trainee that I would be back after I paid the taxi driver. She asked how much the driver was asking..she that "that's way too much" and went outside with me to talk to the driver. In short, I ended up paying a fair market rate and a lot less. This lady trainee did all this on her own, and turned what could have been a sour first experience of Romania from bad to good. Guess it was my lucky day, and the taxi driver not so lucky day. Overall, I enjoyed staying at the Hilton and would recommend it to my friends."

"Our room was on the third floor-54 steps up. For two 80 year olds this was a bit tough. The room was nice and had adequate electrical outlets;the bathroom was very small. The included breakfast was ok: the same as breakfast every hotel in Romania. It is well located in a quiet area about a 20 minute walk to the town center."

"I loved this hotel. It was a great price for such a lovely hotel with great staff. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were clean and a relaxing area with beautiful views. Anytime I come to Bucharest I will stay here."

"Location was very good. Front desk very attentive. Breakfast superb. Transfer to airport hood. Downsides: no shampoo in bathroom although I left signs for housekeeping to refill, microwave didn't work until we complained. Shower clothes rack thermostat did not work. AC did not respond to commands. It did work but only at 25 degrees. Remote control has bad batteries though I left signs for battery replacement. No laundry service on weekends. I had to wash my dirty clothes. Just a general lack of standards we expect in the USA."
