Hotel GIN is new and very well located for sightseeing Budapest. It’s is central yet quiet and you are always within 20 minutes of one site or another. Very good food spots too. The hotel is clean and well taken care off. I had issues with my first room and they changed it even upgraded me, no issues. I initially needed to cancel the booking due to unexpected ill health but they refused saying I had booked a non refundable room meanwhile all they offered on Expedia were the non refundable room. This put me off somewhat. That aside it was a lovely stay. I would recommend, they get shower caps, conditioners, slippers, robes in the hotels and replace the toilet paper daily as we ran out on our last day but other than that, very nice!

I am adding the Hotel Gin to my repeat list. It’s a bit on the self-serve side, but everything is easy going and went smoothly. The accommodations were interesting, clean, and comfortable. Great location near shopping and major attractions. My only complaint is that the AC didn’t go low enough for the hot days of my summer visit to Budapest, but that’s probably due to EU regulations.

Absolut tolles hotel. Sehr zentral und damit alles bestens erreichbar. Man sieht auch das alles recht neu ist. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder wenn wir nochmal nach budapest reisen.

Nun, ich muss sagen, optisch ist alles wunderbar! Sehr zentral gelegen und auch das Frühstück war sehr gut durchdacht, aber im Zimmer sehr staubig gewesen! Mein Mann hat auch eine stauballergie, er hat vier Tage kein Auge zugemacht. Zuhause wieder angekommen und auch durchgeschlafen. Somit kann ich leider nur drei Sterne geben. Nicht die Ästhetik zählt, sondern das was man fühlt und das war leider nicht gut.

Why Would You Stay Anywhere Else? Love, love! Hotel GIN ... the look, location, comfort, safety and specially the very well trained staff. Everyone was kind, welcoming and helpful ... Szabina, Lili, Viktor and Fulop will help you with tours, restaurant recommendations, places of interest. Special mention goes to Sergei, lost my beautiful gold bracelet, he found it in the reception area and kept it for me until I got back. Do not miss breakfast ... the food and the view! A lovely hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Budapest. Breakfast at Hotel Rum (just round the corner on the 7th floor with a cracking view over the city!) was lovely. The room was lovely and spotless. Would happliy stop here again.

Very good Hotel, close to center, with good availabilty to local transport and especially bus 100E coming directly from airport. Moreover, the breakast located to Rum hotel (its brother) is really good, and it's good to begin the day by a beautiful view, as breakfast is served on a rooftop! Do not hesitate!
