“As usual (we've stayed at 'The Duk' many times now), we had a lovely 2 weeks at the Duk 'n' Willa cottage. Even with incredibly wet weather (we had 4 days without rain/showers in the 2 weeks we were there!) we still managed to have a great time and fitted in kayaking, fishing and lots of great beach walks with our dogs. The cottage suits us perfectly: great location being near to restaurants, boat ramps and beaches; comfortable without being pretentious or precious; well appointed; perfect for……

“We stayed here recently due to my daughter playing at the QISSN carnival. It was only a short drive into Bundaberg. The accommodation itself was modern, clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Sitting on the front porch looking down to the water was perfect and it was a quick walk to the cafe and swimming beach. Would definitely stay again. Thank you ”

“House is tired, mildew in light fittings, aircon vent and some fly screens clogged with dust and fluff, only one hot plate working normally, other 3 heating red roar, no drip plates under the hotplates, rust in oven and hotplate surround rings. Lovely fridge but overall, a very tired, small 3 bedroom house. Compared to other beachfront Woodgate accommodation, this house is not worth the money charged.”

“Was good the only thing that didn't suit me was the width of the front gate was very narrow to get my boat in which I had to put in the marina that was a me problem ”

“A well located, very comfortable house which is fully equipped with everything one would want. The house is in a very quiet location ideal for dogs to enjoy runs on the beach and swimming. Locals are very friendly and welcoming to dogs.”

“Annual family getaway and ut was a huge hit. The location of the water with small grandchildren, they wouldn't stay out of the water. Then close to harvey bay for shopping and attractions, so yes we will return.”

“A tastefully renovated house which is comfortable and full of character. Our Scottish Terrier loved the large fenced yard. Even though it rained for 2 of our 3 days, we had a relaxing, enjoyable break. Our trips to the Esplanade and beach were by car because of the weather, but we still had quite a bit of time to enjoy these wonderful spots in Woodgate. A couple of streets back is just as wonderful!”

“This is the second time I have stayed at Kingfisher house. It is a beautiful home, clean and comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with every appliance and item you will require, blankets for comfort during cooler weather and aircon and fans for warmer days and evenings. The beds are comfortable and the view from the two front bedrooms are a pleasure to wake up to. Julie is lovely to deal with and communication is excellent. As yet, I haven’t taken my dogs on either stay but each time I have……
