Our stay at RIU Antilles was good, but unfortunately, not great. The property itself feels quite dated and shows a significant amount of wear. While the hotel was generally clean and functional, it could definitely use some updating and renovation to bring it up to the standard you might expect from a resort in this category. The staff, however, was excellent. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and their service was one of the highlights of our stay. The food was so-so. There were some decent options, but overall, the dining experience was nothing particularly memorable. Room service was another disappointment, with very limited options available, which made it difficult to get a meal in the room when we wanted something convenient. Entertainment was decent, but again, nothing exceptional. There were things to do, but we didn't find the entertainment particularly impressive. The best part of the hotel is definitely the location. It’s a beautiful area and provides a great setting for enjoying the destination. One thing that really stood out was the sister property. It was noticeably nicer—modern, clean, and much more updated. Seeing the difference between the two properties made RIU Antilles feel even more dated by comparison. Overall, RIU Antilles wasn't a bad stay, but it left a lot to be desired. With some significant updates and improvements, it could be a much better experience.
