Love being able to walk right to the beach and the bar is right by the beach. Easy access to all the restaurants. Customer service was grumpy.

I liked the hotel overall. A few standouts were the wonderful buffet - loved the live music, service and the food choices. The property was clean and well maintained. I loved the flexibility of going between the two properties. I didn't like the constant waiting for the elevator and breakdowns. The restaurant choices were not up to par (the best for me was Krystal). The nightly entertainment was below standard and from the audience's lackluster responses each night (I felt bad for the entertainers), they shared my feelings. I kept going to the Palace or to the Hip Strip for more palpatable entertainment options. Oh, I did like the open beach wherein we could walk along the beach, crossing into other properties with no restrictions - allowing us to just take very long, unhindered beach walks. That was a lovely highlight of our stay! Finally, the staff were amazing. Very positive, helpful, pleasant but not intrusive workers. They helped to make our stay a bit more enjoyable. Overall, the property is best for relaxing and just doing nothing, but eat, drink and swim.

The staff were friendly and worked very hard to make the stay enjoyable. We were incredibly unhappy with our room. The first night we got to the room we noticed the peep hole was missing and covered with tape. That same night the toilet broke and maintenance had to come fix it. While we were waiting for maintenance to come fix it we turned on the tv and that was also broke. Maintenance was able To fix the toilet and tv. There was mold on the ceiling and the air conditioner didn’t work. Maintenance was not able to fix these problems. The room was incredibly uncomfortable due to the high humidity from the air not working properly. Everything felt wet, the bed sheets, our clothes. We requested a room change but the process for that wasn’t feasible with kids. You basically have to move out of the room, they store your belongings until you can be moved into another room. Needless to say we were very disappointed with the quality of the room for the price we paid.
