Our room had a kitchenette, so we did grocery shopping in the village of Bushmills. We were able to walk to the Dunseverick Falls. It was very quiet and private. I wish we had more time just to walk the area and the local harbor/beach rock area and enjoy the amenities to relax. I wish more of my stays were rural. The beds were awesome. And it was beautifully clean. Big bathroom by Irish standards! Yay! That being said, i wish we could have stayed longer. Dawn was kind and ever ready for any help that we needed. Her place is well equipped, cosy and very homely. The walls are paper thin and the bedroom is right next to a hallway shared by the owner and other guests. So you end up hearing everything. The other guests in the room opposite were particularly noisy in the morning around 7am. We could also hear the owner shouting at her dogs around a similar time. Nothing against the property itself which was absolutely fine for a nights stay. Clean and comfortable and the owner was friendly and provided clear instructions. Although we did notice one of the owners dogs had pooed close to our car in fairly obvious place the night before. We managed to avoid this but it was still there in the morning when we left.
