這次出遊最擔心住宿品質，Tonsy這樣的價格算是非常值得

Very poor condition, service and breakfast

The room was very dirty, the bathroom flush stopped working and never got fully fixed. There was one tower in the bathroom. The carpets on the floor was very dusty. The picture of the room was highly misleading. The elevator is extremely old and scary. The reception of the hotel is heavily furnished to mislead customers completely. Rooms don't have good internet although it is mentioned in the package. Only after several requests to provide more toilet papers, to fix the flush, to add towels etc sometimes the service was provided. A few services were not provided at all. Often times the reception was staffed with people that did not speak any English thus delaying the process to receiving service. The breakfast was one cold boiled egg, one dry pastry with some jelly on it, one old bun and cheese, and really bad coffee in a dirty cup. The location of the hotel is convenient and the bar on the 18th floor has good ambiance and some internet. I would really not recommend the hotel to tourists who are in Cairo for a short duration. Exploring Cairo and Giza is a fantastic experience. Living in a really poor hotel like this one will only stain that experience very much. It is not even an inexpensive hotel for the condition.

Regular... y malo en varios aspectos!

Es un hotel bastante regular, la descripción que ofrece Hoteles.com no concuerda con las condiciones reales del hotel ni con el servicio que presta. El personal no es amable y a veces incluso son groseros, solo una persona que al parecer es el dueño o el asministrador es amable, no ofrecen asistencia turistica, ni siquiera tienen un mapa para ayudar al turista. Las habitaciones no tienen balcón, no tienen artículos en el minibar, no hay caja fuerte, no hay secador de pelo ni plancha, así se pidan estos artículos en la recepción la respuesta es "aquí no hay de eso, tal vez en mi casa hay", no limpian las habitaciones a diario a menos que lo pidas en recepción, y si limpian lo hacen a las 17:00 horas, sale muy poca agua de las duchas, no hay artículos de jugué en personal, se debe pedir papel higiénico y toallas porque no dejan. El desayuno diario es regular, se supone que lo dan desde las 8:00 pero debes pedirlo primero en la recepción porque si subes a la terraza no hay nadie, solo la persona que atiende el bar en la noche durmiendo en un sofá. Solamente hay Wifi en la terraza, solo hay un ascensor que se bloquea y es el mismo que usa toda la gente que entra al bar de la terraza. En cuanto a la zona es muy comercial, hay restaurantes y bancos, pero nada turistico. No lo recomiendo!

Disappointed stay

-Check in day: there is no elevator on the first floor, have to climb stairs to next floor to use elevator. Elevator has no internal door, it is dangerous to stand inside elevator near the opening. -Room has no toilet paper, only 1 towel. Asked for toilet paper, were told wait till tomorrow when cleaning lady come, manager can’t provide toilet paper. We had to go to the market close by to get our own toilet paper. -Wifi in room has no password provided. Asked for room wifi password, were told only the owner has. Asked if they can call owner to get password, were told owner doesn’t provide this password ! -Hallway and room are dirty. There is cockroach in our room. -Check out day: Asked the “security person”, the one sitting at the door get us a taxi, he made deal with the taxi driver, and changed the original agreed fare to the exorbitant amount, such that we had to pull luggage off taxi and wanted to get another taxi by ourselves, He made a scene to scare us such that we had to ask for help from the English speaking personel sit at the front desk.

Ca commence avec des problèmes et Fini de lhorreur

Ca commence mal et Ca fini dans l'horreur. Ma réservation n'était pas dans le système en arrivant, l'absence je était en panne pendant 3 jours et les chambres sont au 16 eme étage. La chambre sentait la le pipi et ils étaient incapable de trouver une chambre propre. Je fini par en trouver une triple assez correcte. Mais malheureusement au dernier jours des boutons commencent à apparaître sur tout mon corps et il s'avère que j'avais attrapé la gale (scarbies) suite à ce séjour d'une semaine.... Ne jamais y mettre les pieds svp !!

Quiet stay

As a budget deal, El Tonsy is just a good choice. Great and hospitable staff, but some with limited English. Roof cafe is their strength. I sat up there every night. Located at walking distance from Nile River, Egyptian museum and 20 min from Giza Pyramids. The elevator is old and the carpet is worn out. Cleaning was not daily. For 27 use a day that was a good deal.

Great hotel for low maintenance travelers

This is a perfectly fine travelers' hotel in a quiet location not far from downtown Cairo. I had no incidents, but given that the rooms are accessible to patrons of the (excellent) rooftop bar I would have preferred stronger locks on the door of my room. The room was not cleaned every day, but whenever I asked they were more than happy to make up my room. I appreciated the free airport pickup. I also liked that, unlike other "tourist" hotels in Cairo, I wasn't hounded to take this or that hotel-sponsored excursion.

Awesome Hotel!

My first trip to Egypt was comfortable and relaxing. Thanks to this hotel. The room I got was comfy, clean, quiet and so homey. The price is budget friendly and the staff are very nice and I even had small conversations with them every time. The people in charge at the Reception were very accommodating and helpful. At the roof top, you get a very good view of the Nile. Fresh air, nice, delicious food and very fast internet connection. They also have offers for tours and parties which are also within budget especially for someone like me on a tight budget. Thanks again and until next time.
