![We took a cab to get the other side of the island for a more serene environment and turquoise waters.  There are different parts of the beach to chill at. My friend got a mild sting from a tiny dying jellyfish that was washing ashore, but the lifeguard station was helpful. 

Be sure to make reservations at Sunset Ashram for awesome sunset views. Understandably, the businesses there won't let you use their phone to call a taxi, so be prepared! “My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and we were very comfortable. We went in March so it was fairly quiet in the area. The staff were kind and very helpful.
