"This is an excellent luxury villa, with a large pool, great garden and good facilities. You do need a car as there is very little in walking distance, but it is only 10 minutes to Calheta and the drive is easy. The kitchen was very well equipped, and all the furnishing are of a high standard. The nearest decent supermarket is 30 mins drive, but it is again easy to find. There a many great walks you can drive to within 30 mins but not too much on the doorstep. The host was excellent and communication very clear. Given the weather in Maderia, you do need to have the pool heated, it isn't cheap but is a necessity, so factor that into the costs. We loved the table tennis table, spin bike and weights in the garage. we didn't know they would be there and its one of the things we really appreciated, so we hope they will remain available in future. We would highly recommend this Villa and hope to go back in the future."
