I chose The Towne because it is centrally located. I also was spending 4 days alone, and wanted a place that would be comfortable enough. Awesome location! I walked for meals and to see the town. Camden has crowded streets and limited parking,in the off season, so walking is more convenient. BTW, Camden is hilly, not good for limited mobility. My room was cozy and pleasant. This is a well maintained old building. I liked the wooden deck and old wood interior trim. The two woman that run the place, Siobhan and Katia, were very nice. You need to ask them for what you need. I'm glad I got the King, for the added sitting area. They provide a Keurig and a Continental breakfast, yogurt, baked goods, and a piece of fruit. The baked goods were a bit too sweet and cold for my taste. There is no microwave. I would have preferred a coffee pot to the Keurig. Also the bathroom fan goes on with the light and sounds like a 747 taking off. Nevertheless the bed was very comfortable. It was better lit than most. I would stay there again.
