You can reduce the insects by not turning on the outside lights at night (finish eating before dark) and cleaning up dishes etc. immediately after...

Regularly saw toucans (two kinds), hummingbirds (four kinds), coatimundi, agouti, parrots of all colors, and butterflies galore. Owner is quick to respond to questions and requests. Would definitely stay here again."
