"Room is lovely and big. Very clean complex and the 2€ for a lounger means there is no sunbed scramble. This was our second stay and will definitely be back. The wee bars just outside are great for a drink on the way home and a laugh at the karaoke"

"We loved our stay here! Had a fantastic week. The swimming pools were amazing. The evening entertainment was also good fun! My boys were fascinated with all of the stunning fruit trees growing on the property as well! So lush and beautiful. The location was fantastic. Only a short walk to the town/port, as well as a short drive to other beautiful parts of the island such as Maspalomas sand dunes, los azulejos de Veneguera, Amadores beach etc. Would highly recommend this as a great hotel for families especially."

"This really is always the best “go to” hotel. The staff are super friendly without exception, the manager has been there forever and always takes the time to say hi. The rooms are super clean, the terrace is a great sun trap and the pool area is fun. I don’t go for the breakfast as i personally don’t like buffets and the feral instincts it brings out in people, but i’m told that it’s lovely and as always the staff there too are great. I definitely recommend Don Miguel for a nice break in gran canaria, it’s not 5 star luxury but it’s a warm welcoming clean, bright place to enjoy playa del ingles"

"The room was not cleaned properly, as there was stuff on the floor and even in the balcony. I do feel it depends on who was cleaning it, as they did the room late. The bathroom was clean well and the bedsheets were shabby but clean andnbath towel were fine. The air conditioning was rubbish to start of with and had to complain twice, but eventually after the third dayit was sorted. But still could have had more power coming through system. But was told there was a issue in that block which was block 2. The lifts weren't on so we had to climb to the second floor which wasn't pleasaThe staff were very helpful and friendly at reception although I found the older ones a bit miserable when asking a simple question. The restaurant had a lot of food but it felt like it was the same dishes everyday but just cook differently and at times cold. Loved the salad and collection of cakes and fruit. The pool restaurant was petty much the same. But always access to drink thoughout the day. The swimming pool was very big and quiet at times. The hotel was situated at a really good spot, where basically all the restaurants, supermarkets and gift shops on your doorstep. The restaurants around the area was responsibly priced & there was so much places to eat out, if you choose half board or breakfast only. The beach to me wasn't appealing and I was happy to stay around the hotel pool. On a whole I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again if I went back to Lanzarote."

"Hotel extrêmement bien situé pour la vue sur l'île de la Gomera .Les cocktail du Romy's bar sont parfaits et que dire de la vue wow ! Notre condo avait un énorme balcon donnant vue sur la mer et les collines en même temps . A distance de marche de la plage ( il fait être en forme car c'est toujours en inclinaison) mais sa ce fait bien une vingtaine de minutes. L'état du condos était bien , très propre un peu vieillot mais tout était en état . Nous avons adoré profiter de notre terrasse , de la piscine et du Bar Romy's lors de nos fin de journée de visite . Nous n'avons pas manger au resto car nous étions hors de notre hébergement en journée et mangions a l'extérieur lors de la visite de l'île ."
