“The villa itself is stunning, lovely pool area and grounds and staff really great, friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed in was okay - we knew it was in the basement of the villa, but it was very dark. We had booked it as it came with a kitchen and perhaps an oversight on our part but there was no oven, the fridge was tiny and a real lack of cooking utensils, it was very basic and meant we did not really cook while staying despite having wanted to. “The house is built in the traditional Tuscan style and beautifully situated, overlooking a valley and commanding impressive views. The representative/ hostess was extremely helpful, and, spike good English. There was a selection of wines available at a reasonable 7.00 a bottle, though guests are advised to stock up with supplies before arriving, particularly for breakfast the next morning.
