"Excellent stay at Mawamba lodge. Gardens around the ground are great and we saw sloths and Toucans a short walk from our room. Breakfast was great as was the dinner we had at the restaurant. Pool can get quite busy with families and children. Town is only a short walk away or they can provide a river taxi. Also took part in the tours arranged by the hotel which was fantastic with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Would highly recommend it visiting Tortuguero "

"I have to cancel the reservation, there is no AC/TV. The road to to Hotel is 10 km of rocky road that damage my car tire. Terrible."

"Exotico Beach Hotel is an incredible hidden gem on the southern shores of Costa Rica’s Caribbean Sea shores.
The hotel is a perfect hidden getaway in the middle of the jungle, literally, where you will hear howler monkeys every morning, have an incredible opportunity to see Parrots, and all kinds of other wonderful wildlife. The food at this hotel is on point and the staff is very accommodating. 10/10 I highly recommend."
