Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Don’t feel like parking outside this winter enjoy keeping your car in the attached garage.The house is also equipped with its own WiFi , desk and printer if you want work remotely. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need during your stay.It is 1200 square foot house with 3 private bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Peaceful setting close to everything!
The house was supplied with everything we needed including a beach umbrella that we would have never thought to bring. The air purifier was also a nice touch. We brought ours from home as we have allergies but the host had already thought of it...as they did everything else! The house was very clean in general; floors were clean and free of debris (the Roomba is handy to have) but could have benefited from a wet mop. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Clean, any problems that arose were fixed timely. Wanted a quite place to stay at night between day trips. They had almost everything we needed the entire trip. Even toothbrushes, as we forgot ours at the hotel on the way down from NC.

Great place near Lake Huron
We could tell they spent some time to make it an easy and eventful stay there with easy check in/out instructions and list of things nearby in a book. I liked how quiet it was. They have chickens and fresh eggs. We saw deer both days. Very nice time.

Was a great house very clean and everything you could think of needing was there. Communication with the host was great and he even had a fire going for me in the fireplace. I definitely recommend the house for anyone wishing to stay in the area. About 1/2 mile from a road side park on Lake Huron.

Lovely home
Loved this house and the location. It felt like home - even had a Christmas tree! Would definitely return. Our only frustration was with VRBO communication. Each time trying to check in, access was denied. When we left Friday morning we did not know if we had the correct address or if we would be able to get in. Have not had this problem before using VRBO but it added a lot of anxiety at the start of an otherwise wonderful weekend.

A charming area with a lovely home away from home. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit the In-Laws. The chickens and fresh eggs were a highlight for our 12 month old. Plenty of room for the dogs to walk around outside as well.

We returned to our home state of Michigan For our first autumn visit in over 20 years and this house was perfect. No lake view from the house but the country views are pretty and peaceful. There is a wonderful roadside park for beautiful views of Lake Huron just a short drive away. We were there during the first real cool weather spell, with rain and winds. We loved getting out and looking at the waves until we were chilled and then coming back and stating a fire. The owners were very nice, easy to communicate with and seemed to think of everything you might need during your stay. Our 8 year old loved the house and wasn’t bored. None of us wanted to leave when it was time to go.this house was very clean, cozy and comfortable. The only change I would make is closable curtains on every window and door but still this was 5 stars for us.

Perfect country
The nice size house was clean and equipped with cooking utensils BBQ grill. Nice backyard with chickens and fireplace. My Grandson did not say he was board once. Closet full of board games. And it was nice to be just across from the beach ⛱️

My little family (parents, baby, and furbaby) loved our stay! The house was beautiful, the listing does not do it justice. The hosts had everything well stocked, we didn't need anything while there. The towns nearby are small and quiet, with just enough going on for a perfect relaxing getaway.

Great Place!
This was our second time at this property and we'll definitely be back. We 3 sisters enjoyed a long weekend away from it all ..same as we did in Feb 2022. The owners have made some lovely improvements... new counter tops and back splash in the kitchen, nice private back deck with seating and the chickens loose on the property gave us 'city girls' some lively entertainment. This was the perfect spot to stay with both in-state and out-of-state family who wanted to gather and visit before the family weekend event. Much better than trying to find a local hotel. The house had everything we needed with no need to haul a bunch of stuff.
