"The house is situated in an olive garden about 3 km from the town of Carcabuey. It is well equipped and clean. There is a fairly large swimming pool and a covered terrace. The only inaccuracy is the second bathroom with an entrance from the pool side and not from inside of the house. We were afraid of insects that could be there, but it turned out that it was not a problem."

"Wir hatten zwei tolle wochen in Alvaros schönem Haus bei Baena. Ein hübsches Städtchen mit netten Menschen und so gut wie keinem Tourismus. Alvaro und carmen waren extrem freundlich, immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Ohne die wunderbare Carmen hätten wir es nie geschafft unser kaputtes Auto reparieren zu lassen. . "We absolutely loved our stay here. The pool was great, views were beautiful, the cave playhouse adorable…I could go on. The house was charming and had a rustic feel, but had everything you needed (great ac, fridge with ice!). It’s beautifully decorated, very clean, and stayed comfortable even on days where it reached 40 degrees. The WiFi was fast enough for us to take some video calls. The host was lovely. We’ll be back!"

"Lovely hotel and a good location Friendly staff and the areas and room were clean and it was very quiet The room was nice with aircon, the bathroom was spacious and had a lovely overhead shower but with only opaque glass separating it from the room, it may not be the choice with overly private couples….it wasn’t a problem for us but just wanted to put it out there The parking is offsite about a 10 minute walk away which is a public under cover car park but they have a deal that you only pay their rates not the car park rates We did have an issue in that the ticket they gave didn’t work so we ended up having to pay full price to get out of the car park but the hotel refunded us without any problem"

"A wonderful place to stay in an amazing place. The view out our hotel window alone was worth the price - which was very reasonable and breakfast was included! Our interest was a days bike ride on the Via Verde del Aciete and this place proved to be a perfect base for that. The bike rental place that the hotel works with is excellent."

"This was a good stop while we were property hunting. Although the room was smaller than we expected, it was clean and comfortable. I loved the sofa! We hoped the restaurant would be open, but must be more for the busy season. We found old town and the architecture was wonderful, then a good walk up to the fortress. If you do nothing else, go to the fortress. They said to allow an hour and half but we were there for almost 3hrs!"
