Our room was beautiful! And the grounds were lovely. We went on a walk on an adjacent river walk, which was so beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was very nice as well. We drive to a restaurant (Finnegans) which was 8 minutes drive and we really loved that as well.

The lodge appeared outdated and is in need of renovation. During my stay, I experienced very low water pressure, and warm water was not consistently available. Although check-in was scheduled for 3:00 PM, I arrived in Ireland at 9:00 AM and inquired about the possibility of an early check-in. I was informed that no rooms were available, and unfortunately, no alternatives or accommodations were offered. As a result, I spent several hours navigating an unfamiliar country while waiting. After spending a few days on the property, I observed that several lodges appeared to be unoccupied, which left me confused as to why no early check-in options were provided. Given these experiences, I do not plan to stay at this location again and would not feel comfortable recommending it to others.

Nobody on front desk to take my key or ask if stay was ok. I went back again as hotel very near my work and room wasn't cleaned. Still the location is great for me so I regularly book in. I forgot that I booked on one occasion and the hotel still charged me the full whack. Would not even refund me a euro even though I'm a regular customer and they didn't have to clean the room or make the beds. So I'll never book in again. A shame as it's a nice hotel.

Restaurant and bar on site. Really unique place! It's quite loud though, especially in the middle of the night for some reason? Not sure if there's work going on in the area, but we were woken up between midnight and 3am each night due to loud banging outside the window. Otherwise, it was a beautiful place.

This is a great place to be. Nice walks along the river and nice grounds. The staff was great and Josephine was charming. All good. We stayed here because we were flying out from Shannon the next day. The half hour drive to Shannon was easy (in the morning). We chose well.

der pool gehört nicht zum hotel. garderobe und sauna ist eklig und da sollte dringends mal richtig sauber gemacht werden. die Honeymoon Suite ist schön gross. Der Schrank stammt wohl noch von 1800. Von aussen schön aber da drin stinkts da will man keine kleider aufbewahren. Frühstück auswahl ok, hat aber noch viel potential nach oben. Das Bett war super bequem. Auch beim normalen doppelzimmer
