Filthy Unsanitary HotelPosted Oct 7, 2017
This is the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. I came with a group of young teens after the Shakespeare Competition for one night. The rooms had not been cleaned and smelled of smoke. Dirt was on the bathroom floor and the garbage cans had not been emptied. Stains all over the carpet and on all of the chair surfaces. The bathroom lights were hanging ajar by one cord halfway down the wall. The towel rods were disassembled and hanging out over the clothing rack. The students were going to swim but the water in both the pool and jacuzzi were gray and the smell emanating from the pool area was so foul it smelled as if something had died and was decaying. The noise from nearby rooms and clients passing along the corridor continued well into the early morning hours so that we could not sleep. We checked in too late to find another accommodation. Finally, there was no remote for the TV to be found in the room. When I asked the front desk they indicated they would send one up, but never did. This hotel should be removed from the Epedia listings and should be subject to health inspection spot checks on a regular basis.

False AdvertisingPosted Oct 3, 2017
Pros: The office staff were pleasant. Our check in went well.
Cons: The advertising of a 'free breakfast' should be taken off their advertisement. The rooms should be completely renovated or completely cleaned.
Location: Easy to find. Walkable to good hikes.
This motel advertises that they serve a free breakfast, but there was none. The staff were pleasant and friendly, but the room was very poor. The room was dirty, the rug filthy, dirty hand prints on the windows, doors, light switches, much dust and grime on all surfaces. There was a large dip at the entrance to the property.

Good Value in Cedar City, UTPosted Sep 15, 2017
Pros: Downtown location
Cons: Unfortunately smokers are messy, but better attention to the cleanliness of the area that smokers seem to have selected as their domain.
I find that when using a booking service, the location of the room I receive is in a questionable area of the motel property. This room was located between the motel laundry and the room with the ice machine and vending and the smoking area. The room itself was pleasant and surprisingly quiet. When I had a question about the remote for the TV the staff (Michelle, I believe) researched an answer for which I grateful.

The price and value was excellent. Stayed in far more expensive hotels that weren't as nice.

A stop on our way home.Posted Aug 6, 2017
Pros: The clerk at the front desk was very helpful. She helped us with the TV and had good advice regarding a local restuarant.
Cons: The driveway.
Location: This was not an issue because we were there to sleep basically and rest.
There was one thing that bothered us and it had nothing to do with the room, it was the entrance to the driveway that our Camry would scrap the bottom of our car because of how big a dip there was coming in and out of the driveway.

the bed was very comfortable, the room immaculately clean, and the shower great.
