Surrounded by greenery, Casa Clelia is located in the beautiful Centovalli area, a 5-minute walk from the centre of the Alpine town of Moneto. The property is a typical country house with mountain views, a wood-burning fireplace, a large private garden, a barbecue and an outdoor dining area.
Accessed via an external staircase, the apartment is set on one floor and features a bright living space that extends onto a sunny balcony. Furnished with a dining table, a comfortable sofa and a Smart TV, it is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the view. Casa Clelia is located close to the Italian border, a 5-minute walk from the centre of Moneto, a quiet Alpine town in the beautiful Centovalli area of Switzerland. The village of Camedo, one of the last Swiss stops on the scenic Centovalli railway line, is a 10-minute drive away. This narrow-gauge railway line winds through picturesque valleys from Locarno in Switzerland to Domodossola in Italy.
Guests can easily visit the beautiful town of Ascona on Lake Maggiore (35-minute drive) to enjoy beach days at the town’s public Lido and admire its villas and gardens with lemon, orange and citron trees. From Ascona, travelers will also find a ferry to visit the Giardino Botanico del Ticino located on the larger of the two Brissago Islands. In Locarno (35-minute drive), guests can shop for the finest local produce at the farmers’ market every Thursday on the Piazza Grande, which also sells regional crafts, second-hand clothing and books.
