“If you want to wake up to the sound of birds singing and a large walking path through the jungle without all the crowds - this is the hotel for you. Our stay at Hotel Faro Arenal was absolutely fantastic, from the amazing staff to the delicious food. Our cabin was comfortable and cozy, with plenty of fresh linens and towels and our own personal AC unit that worked so well (but was often not needed thanks to the shade from the surrounding trees and large personal porch to relax). “We really liked the stay here. It had a great view and location right in town. The restaurant on site was very convenient with included breakfast each morning. They even arranged an early breakfast for us one morning as we had a tour leaving earlier than the opening time. Food was average, didn't wow me but did the job. We stayed in cabin 3 and it had a sewage smell from the minute we walked in that never left. We didn't experience this at our other lodgings in Monteverde or Manuel Antonio, so……
