Very cold, sarcastic, unpleasent feeling received from a few staffs at Orlando overpowered the normal and friendly feeling received from other staffs. Due to a engine issue caused a delay in midnight at Salt Lake City, Delta system automatically reschedule the next earliest flight and the staff hands you a piece of paper with little explanation. In reality, you would only have 2 hours stay in a hotel after you find a hotel and arrange transportation yourself. When asked if I can take a later flight, I was told another option was stay/sleep in airport for 7 hours. Eventually an older staff understood my concern and kindly find another flight for me. Another small detail is the announce system on the flight. Every time the flight attendant or captain announce something, the volume was the MAX over the entertainment system. Almost everyone quickly pull his/her earbuds off and frowning. The repeated dozen times over two flights. The third flight was OK. I guess this is something can be adjusted. Ironically, in Delta's promo video, the CEO say every details matters. The overall feeling is the airline just want to move passenger quickly out of their hands and there is no spirit for customer service. It is a good training for me to be calm and cool when unexpected to happen during travel. But I will try to avoid the airline by all means.
