This was second leg of my trip. Here is the overall trip info... My other review was all Red, this is all Green. Red - I was unable to check in before arrival to JFK - codes provided by Expedia did not work on TA site. Green - Staff at JFK counter and gate were very good; patient and worked with me to redistribute weight in my bags. Green - Crew on JFK - IST flight excellent; very efficient and nice. Red - Had to pay twice to get WIFI; system would not recognize password (no wifi option IST to ACC. Red - Seat would not recline (JFK to IST) in middle seat (27e). I should have asked crew for new seat, but it was an hour into flight before I tried to recline and I believe the flight was full. I let them know on my way out for the next leg of trip. Red - TA website is not user-friendly and it's hard to find anything; WiFi info, layover policy, check-in (third-party). Red - Was disappointed to have 8.5 hr layover in Turkey with no hotel option and tour option impossible without visa; staff was underwhelming in their interest in my issues, so had to sleep at gates. This information should be more transparent and marketed. Layovers can be a huge benefit to IST economy. Green - Flight from IST to ACC was good; aisle seat was helpful, food was good, staff was nice. Forgot to mention I am a hospitality professor!
