“Quiet and simply. You cannot get any better accommodation in - not only in Courmayeur but - all Europe to that price with these amenities and its staff. We really felt like home as the owner family is treating us. The gentlemen had been giving advises for Ski slopes like we are his family. His wife is greeting me and wife every time we see her like family. The night manager gentleman had been waiting for us to return to hotel late at night and closing the doors after us like we are his family.……

“The hotel, whilst it looks fine from the entrance, is tired and in need of significant investment. The location is fantastic. Best part. We had a superior room with a fabulous direct view of Monte Bianco. Bathroom is old, dirty pointing around the bath, fittings at least 20 years old, broken dirty fan, etc. And they don’t make the beds properly-no duvet cover-just a duvet sandwiched between two sheets which turns into a twisted mess by morning. Breakfast was ordinary-lots of pastries, limited……

Sin embargo, dos factores que perjudicaron: El cuarto es sumamente caliente, pues recibe el sol de la tarde, quizá en otras épocas del año es bueno, pero en primavera no lo es, imagino en verano debe ser insoportable. La habitación no cuenta con aire acondicionado, por lo que al intentar abrir la ventana para refrescar, el problema es entonces el ruido del exterior, pues pasan constantemente……

“Beautiful, atmospheric (though well maintained) old building. One of the doors inside is bullet into an impressive stone arch with the Savoie crest carved into it. It once marked the boarder between Savoy and the rest of Italy, so that gives an idea of how old the original structure is My room was comfortable and had a balcony affording a lovely view of time-honoured stone-tiled roofs and the mountains beyond .
