Convenient and comfortable!

Posted Aug 10, 2016
Pros: Breakfast, location, room size
Cons: Wifi
Location: Right off a main road! Has lots of little shops, bars, and tour companies around it. 7-11 within two minutes walk. Weekend night market within 10.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was spacious (featured a huge shower) and clean. The giant window just faced a wall, but, hey, I didn't come expecting a view. The breakfast was great, with both Asian and Western options. The staff was polite and English-friendly, both when I checked in and out and when I asked about how to hike Doi Suthep. The location was great, with the weekend night market just down the street. It was very easy to find a tuk tuk or songthaew from the hotel as well. There is also a wonderful front desk area devoted to helping people find tours, which I did not use, but saw several other guests take advantage of. Wifi was only passable and the channels on the television were not at all as described on the channel guide, but those were minor things. Beds are kinda hard, but this is Thailand, so I don't think soft ones even exist. Overall, I would stay here again. I stayed for three nights and traveled alone.

We were disappointed with this hotel as it was run down and needed renovating. The pictures of the hotel made it look appealing but when we arrived it was not the case. The bed was uncomfortable, the room smelt very musty and there was a lot of dust on the surfaces. The TV was old and slightly damaged on the screen. The bathroom was average, it had mould in places and didn't feel very clean. The water temperature was not hot and the pressure wasn't good either. The breakfast was very average as well. The best thing about it was the location.

A decent hotel near Night Market

Posted Aug 6, 2016
The hotel facilities are clean enough eventhough has shown some wearing and tearing everywhere. The breakfast has enough selection of food and tasted quite okay. The hotel location is very close to the Night Market which is a huge plus for me because I did not need to use tuk tuk or other public transportation to get there. The staffs were friendly and they can speak good enough english

Pros: ナイトマーケットマーケットに近い。料金がリーズナブル。スタッフの対応。
Cons:

Room Card

Posted Jun 8, 2016
It was shocking to know that one's room card is duplicated. My kids were in a room opposite to my husband and mine room. My young teenage daughter who was with her brother said a man entered their room unannounced using a room card as she heard the sound upon his entry. As my kids looked shocked, he left with an apology. Upon checking with the front desk, I was told that duplication of room cards was impossible. On another day, my daughter who left her a spare room card in her room found out that it has gone missing I rest my case! Never to Suriwongse again!

Hotel a stones throw away from Night Bazaar

Posted May 24, 2016
Pros: Location, size (not too small for the 3 of us). We were provided with complimentary water daily. Good TV channels when we wanted to chill.
Cons: The room/bathroom could do with a revamp as there were some signs of wear and tear. There were lots of little ants that would ocassionally appear
Location: Location was excellent! Right near the Night Bazaar for shopping, food, and a cabaret show. Red trucks were very frequent to get to Old City.
Myself and 2 friends had a lovely experience at this hotel. It was located literally 1 minute from the Night Bazaar which was a nice surprise and convenient for us! Hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The bathroom had a bathtub and separate shower; there was a window in the bathroom that looked into the main room (very weird) but there were blinds so we could have privacy when we were getting washed (the shower cubicle itself was quite small though). The main room was a bit dark even with lights on/curtains open but I think this has to do with the dark wood theme that was present throughout the hotel. There was also a really comfy sofa in the room. Breakfast had a nice selection of food (thai, pastries, etc) that would appeal to everyone's taste, I think. The beds were quite hard but thankfully this never bothered our sleep. There was a really good Saturday Market in the Old City that I would really recommend!
