This was an overnighter but rather wish we stayed longer! It’s a lovely family run hotel and we were warmly welcomed in. Our rooms were beautifully made up with all you could need in them. The bar area was intimate and cosy, the gardens gorgeous and the dining room light and airy. It is so quiet you don’t realise you are in the centre of a city. The high street is on your doorstep, cathedral a few minutes walk away as is the railway station. There is a lovely park to the rear of the property and parking close by. Loads of amazing restaurants in the vicinity and the buses just around the corner. I loved this hotel and will definitely be back. I did find the breakfast a little disappointing as most of the food was microwaved but there was plenty of choice!

If you are looking to stay in Chichester I would look no further, the staff are incredible and made our stay perfect, could not recommend highly enough

Great location. Very small room for the price though and rather noisy as it was to the front of the property and on the ground floor.

Very welcoming on arrival at the property and staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. Room very nice and all i needed was available to me. Tiny attention to detail - someone had already opened one of the biscuit packets and consumed half and it had not been replaced, so presumably that was from a prior booking and had not been checked before my arrival.

A rare find- will return

Somewhat difficult to find- and we were on foot/ so more instructions on website appreciated plus explanation that the front door is locked until you ring the bell. Having said this, the the accommodation, breakfast and garden is immaculate- loved it!

A lovely small hotel

This is a great hotel in a perfect location for exploring Chichester. Lovely rooms, a beautiful garden, nice breakfast and very friendly staff. We loved little details as home baked bread for breakfast. The hotel is also very clean. We will definitely return!

Could be better

The hotel is very cute, in a quiet street. I had the street facing ground floor room. The room is very small for two people, so was a good thing I was there alone. Comfy bed. Unfortunately nowhere proper to hang up clothes, just a rail which was very low down anything longer than a shirt would touch the ground. All very clean, but unfortunately there was a rather pungent smell in the room so I had to keep the window open at all times which isn’t ideal when facing the street on the ground floor - especially at night. Upon checkout I mentioned the smell and was - quite rudely - told that it’s from chemically cleaning the carpets and would I rather have the smell or get foot fungus from the carpet. (Yep, his exact words). So, as nice as the place is, I didn’t need this kind of rudeness when paying nearly £150 a night for a small room.

I was warmly welcomed at the hotel. It’s a beautiful old building with just about 10 rooms so you get individual attention. Breakfast is cooked to order by the owner. Easy walking distance to most of Chichester. Lovely garden guests are welcome to sit in. I felt very welcome here
