“We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November.
The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us.
There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace.
Lismore is an extremely quiet town. There are pubs but no customers, that we saw. Im assuming summertime is the busy season.

“If you want peace and quiet, off the beaten path, away from tourists, Mrs. Delaney‘s loft is the place for you! We really enjoyed our stay. There was one hiccup with another gentleman booked for the same room, but they were quick to rectify the situation, and all parties were taken care of. We will be back!”

“Location impeccable, la petite maison située dans le jardin des propriétaires est entièrement à votre disposition ainsi que la table devant la maison.
La voiture se gare devant la maison des propritaires, on passe par une entrée de côté pour rejoindre la maison (distance 20 mètres).
Propriétaires charmants, très serviables et extrèmement discrets.
Nous sommes plutôt du soir (lève tard, couche tard), ce qui est un peu gênant dans un pays où les gens mangent très tôt le soir.
Bref nous étions plus……

“We originally booked a 1 bedroom but the night before we got there we were told that wasn’t available and we were being given a different unit. I felt uncomfortable with that at such late notice but the house we were given was much larger and grander. The location was perfect for our stay and travels. The owner was kind and helpful. They have a family farm and were working a lot so we appreciated his time. The views are pretty and it was very peaceful.”

“Absolutely lovely cottage; very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, and everything worked well. Appreciated the eggs and apple juice waiting for us; made breakfast very easy. Being greeted every morning by Queenie the farm dog was an extra treat. The whole family enjoyed playing catch with her. We would definitely book again and would recommend the cottage as a great place to stay.”

“Schönes eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit großen Räumen. Bequeme Matratzen, super Küche mit allem Zubehör was man so braucht. Leider gab es Probleme mit der Kommunikation von Fewo zu uns, wir bekamen leider keine Information, wie es mit dem Check in verläuft. Ohne Englisch Sprachkenntnisse wird es schwierig. Es hat sich dann erst am Flughafen geklärt. Es war sonst ein toller Aufenthalt. Der Cliffwalk von Arthmore ist zu empfehlen und nicht weit entfernt. Was noch zu erwähnen wäre, dass es zu extra……

“This old cottage has been lovingly restored and decorated by a lovely young couple. The house is spacious and light. We had some technical issues with internet and the dryer but Niamh and Conor were quick to respond and find solutions. A few small issues could be improved: the bunk bed and one of the double beds creaked, the bathroom could do with some extra towel hooks and storage shelves for toiletries and we missed tables with the sofas.
