Run down, dirty, no maid service
Posted Sep 20, 2016
We stayed here because of its close proximity to the Ohio Village, which was the only positive thing we can say about this hotel. We didn't feel safe in the neighborhood. The pictures must have been taken years ago. Even though our room was a non-smoking room, it smelled of smoke and other odors. We shouldn't have stayed there, but we arrived late in the evening, so we just decided to stay instead of driving around in search for another hotel. The room was dirty, carpet dirty and frayed, kitchen floor sticky, and bathrooms smelled of urine. We had a full kitchen, but there were only a couple of glasses and one coffee mug in the dishwasher. When we returned to our room after a day out, the maid had not been there. When we called the front desk, we were told that there was no maid service on the weekends. When we requested clean towels and wash cloths (because we only had 4 when we checked in for 5), we were told we had to come to the front desk to get them at 11:00 pm. We didn't use the sleeper sofa because the mattress was stained. We were on the second floor and the outdoor stair railing was about to come off. We should have read the reviews before booking.
