“We left a big piece of our collective hearts in Treppignana! The massive, rustic building was perfect for our family group. When you travel a long way (Canada and Norway) it’s great to be impressed and that we were! Everyone was kind and accommodating to us. It was a very personal experience. We had the pizza chef come to feed us one evening. This is most highly recommended. I got pretty good at driving the road up to the palazzo but I recommend two things: at first, don’t do it in the dark, and……

“The owners gave us a lovely welcome and explained everything very clearly in English. The house is beautiful and spacious with a wonderful large and safe pool, with lots of loungers, although only one umbrella. We used the pizza oven with wood supplied for us and also the barbecue. Sitting in the outdoor dining area with the beautiful view of the lit up pool and the hills beyond was heaven. The kitchen was very well equipped. Our last evening we had a great meal at Bimbotto’s in Vorno, walking……

“Großartiges Haus in wunderschöner LageDas Haus ist sehr schön mit vier Schlafzimmern und Bädern, super ausgestatteter Küche und großem Wohnzimmer. Die Lage und der Pool sind toll. Wir waren mit 9 Personen und Hund da und haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Kleiner Minuspunkt war, dass nicht alle Duschen warmes Wasser hatten.”

“Beautiful villa in the tranquil Tuscan Hills, this place is well equipped with everything you need and more. Close to beautiful Lucca and Florence with some lovely local restaurants nearby. Local food and wine is absolutely superb. Supermarkets are not far away with plenty of space in the villa to stock up. It has a well maintained pool and gardens and the owner is helpful and friendly and just an email away from anything you need. We visited the nearby beaches too. Directions to the villa are……
