River Frontage in the Comanche Crossing Subdivision

  • The Bunk House sits on the Frio River in the subdivision of Comanche Crossing and it has a private riverfront. This house sleeps 17.This is a three bedroom three bath home with two bedrooms downstairs and one large room upstairs. The house has a wraparound covered porch and outdoor cabana with amazing views of the river. The cabana includes a sink, a bar with barstools, outdoor bathroom, refrigerator, Smart TV, and picnic table. Enjoy the rocked patio area for BBQ grill and sitting around the fire pit. There is also horseshoes and volleyball for entertainment. It's only a short walk down to the Frio River to your own private concrete slab. You can float from Seven Bluffs and end up at The Bunk House.

    Bedroom 1: Downstairs-Two sets of bunk beds (full bottoms and twin tops) and full bathroom

    Bedroom 2: Downstairs- One queen bed and a set of bunk beds (full bottom and twin top) and full bathroom

    Bedroom 3: Upstairs: One queen and two bunk beds (full bottoms and twin tops) and full bathroom

    Living room: One full sleeper sofa and one full futon

Our overall experience was very good! Everything went smoothly and we were very pleased with the house. The outdoor area and river access was our favorite part. Would love to stay here again!

Long weekend get a way!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall great location, cabin very old and needs update and better cleaning. Showers had no pressure and one shower was straight hot water, no cold water. Location of this was everything! Property still had hair in bathtub, thorns in carpet. Could not go around barefoot in the house due to thorns everywhere. Also would not say kitchen was very stocked with items.

We love all of them and we love having Ms Nicole Bowman be our host this time around. Ms Bowman was so helpful with any questions that we had. Ms Bowman even helped me after we had already left Bunk house. My daughter pair of earrings at the house. Ms Bowman went to the house and made sure they were found for her. At frio family getaway they treat you like family and that’s one of the reasons we will always use them for our frio vacations. Love The Hatfield’s from Houston
