“Tammy was a wonderful host. She was helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. The continental breakfast was served hot with in a beautiful room overlooking the water. And the hot coffee was delicious.”

The couple that owns the motel are the main highlight: you will struggle to find more gracious, hospitable, friendly and helpful hosts anywhere in Newfoundland. The facilities are lovely and very distinct. The meals we had were excellent, including their very special (and very abundant) Jiggs Dinner which they offer every Sunday starting around noon, in the motel's main dining facility. Everyone is relaxed……

“It was frustrating to go back to the front desk to get new keys as keys did not work. I need to go back to them 3 times during my 2 days stay. First of all, you must swipe the keys very slowly to open the door. We spent few minutes opening the door, finally other guest walking by told us the trick. Secondly, keys do not work all the time. Hotel Management - You must consider upgrading your locks to RFID as soon as you can.”

“一間國際油名的酒店, 在整體管理及房間清潔低於一般水平. 我住兩晚, 竟然沒有人清潔房間,廢紙箱內仍然有垃圾, 沒有更新毛巾, 及收拾床舖, 查問前台人員, 竟然對答時執房的政策是alternative day收拾房間, 即是我住兩晚不會有清理房間的服務. 早上在大堂升降機與一名應該是酒店的管理人員一同乘搭, 升降機地面有水漬, 我跟他說有水漬, 他只是笑一笑, 我回來再乘搭升降機時竟然沒有清潔. 其次所謂歐陸式早餐, 冇乜選擇, 咖啡非常普通, 將預製食物翻熱, 只係讚的是,工作人員清潔台面十分努力, 對這間酒店有少少失望.”
