“The :Driftwood: cottage we rented was perfect! So clean and well appointed. We were there to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday with our daughter, son in law and 3 year old granddaughter. The indoor pool and hot tub were a huge hit with the granddaughter! We played golf, went to the beach, bbq'd grwat food and relaxed well. Beds were very comfortable. Judy was wonderful t communicate with. Will reccomend to friends and family”

With a well supplied kitchen - these owners have made an excellent effort to supply everything someone could need. We will definitely return someday and highly recommend this home. ”

“This is a fully equipped cozy cabin deep in the woods but still close to the road. The owner took us up to it and was very cordial. It is perfect for a couples getaway in the Parksville/Qualicum area. RIght up the road from the local market and across from the rodeo grounds. We stayed here because it is centrally located for exploring Vancouver Island and a 2 hour drive to Pacific Rim. If you like privacy you can't ask for more. ”

“What a little gem. We loved this property. A pretty good view of the water. In June, very quiet. There are multiple cottages nearby but everyone we encountered was friendly and interested in knowing about us ;) It is a great location for exploring the island. The kitchen is very well equipped but no dishwasher which was ok for us, no tv or laundry but good Wi-Fi. A very good BBQ. It is a simple cottage but very nice and has a beautiful big deck. The beds were good. We recommend this property...

“Cottage was clean, with lots of everyday needs available. It was spacious and has a great layout. If there is something that’s not there downtown is close by. Also it’s in a great location to access beaches, and a short distance to Departure Bay ferry terminal. It’s in a quiet setting with green belts between complexes so it’s quiet and serene. Good deal for the price. Will like to come back. ”

“It was delightful to stay at this quaint little cabin! It's well appointed with everything needed, and the location right on the beach is ideal. I had the pleasure of watching eagles, herons, seals, sea otters, and many more forms of wildlife right out the front window. The cozy fireplace is a great added touch for the cool evenings. If you seek quiet, solitude, and a beautiful venue to re-charge, this place is for you. ”

“We had a wonderful girls trip at the Slow Go. It was a little tricky to find, as the entrance isn’t immediately visible especially in the dark but once we got familiar with the surroundings it was no problem! The property was lovely, great fire pit, well-stocked and comfy cabin. Being close to the highway meant it got a bit noisy at times but not bad at all. The host was wonderful to communicate with when we had to troubleshoot a situation with the lock and fixed it right away. Would recommend...
