“The property was bright and clean and my room faced into a lovely park. Nice cozy balcony. Excellent location being near the Old Town area. I had a car , although no onsite parking. It was easy to find overnight parking. Ayomonte is a real hidden gem, unfortunate that I only had time for an overnight.”

“Perfect location when leaving/entering Portugal. Central location with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and spacious clean rooms”

“Breakfast, clean room and staff”

“Lovely family stay! We had a wonderful stay at Quinta dos Perfumes. The room was spacious and the bed was big enough for the two of us and our 2-year-old. We loved the beautiful swimming pools surrounded by orange trees, and the bikes with a child seat were a great touch — we enjoyed cycling to the nearby town. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the fresh orange juice was a must! 🍊 All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially Elizabeth, who was very nice and helpful to us……

“A truly wonderful stay – we didn’t want to leave! We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Conversas de Alpendre, and it genuinely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found somewhere very special. The staff were absolutely amazing and could not have done more for us. The level of personal service was exceptional — they remembered our names, our preferences and the little things we liked, which made us feel incredibly welcome and looked after throughout……

“Uitstekende locatie, ruime hotelkamer, goed ontbijt. Alleen kleine ontbijt ruimte, waardoor heel druk en warm. Zwembad heeft maar beperkt aantal ligbedjes.”

“Very clean hotel with very helpful staff. No bar Pool very small Shame there are no other boarding options. Fortunately some great local restaurants within a few minutes walk. My room was on the 6th floor with a very big balcony, shame about the birds and their mess daily so not welcoming.”
