A great place to stay with Family at an affordable
Posted May 30, 2016 on Hotels
My Family and I drove down from D.C. What should have been 10 hours turned into 12 with kids and Grandma!:) But Mrs. Jessica was so welcoming and understanding. Ms. Karen was a hoot during breakfast-so friendly! And Mrs. Stephanie, who brought us fresh towels, was phenominal. Very kind and patient with our needs for fresh towels and toilet tissue. We drove down to pick up my niece and nephew in Conyers to go back to DC for the summer and the whole Family visited the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. So the next time we come down to visit, we will stay again at Travelodge Covington! My only complaint is that the ice machine, washer and dryer, looked weathered and old (I didn't want to get my ice out of there or use the machines, because of the wetness, rust, etc.) Even though these machines are convenient and greatly appreciated(so we don't have to find a laundry mat), I think finding a better place to put them would be better. Maybe turn one of the store rooms in to a nice, clean welcoming place to wash or get ice. Maybe put a plant and a comfortable bench in there? Or at least put the washer and dryer in a room and keep the ice machine outside but update it. Everything else was nice and welcoming.
