Less than 2mins from Crianlarich. Inside was cosy, comfortable and clean. John could not have been nicer. The room was small but perfect with everything I might need. Plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and homemade shortbread biscuits, tv, ensuite bathroom. Bathroom and bedroom warm and cosy, bed firm and comfy. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I would be happy to return and hopefully see the red squirrels next time! John, our host was friendly and welcoming and provided good information about restaurants and nearby walks. Our room was very beautifully decorated and everything was immaculate. The breakfast that John made was delicious. Stayed in the self-catering cottage which was very well equipped. As a family of three older adults (couple plus sister) we had to use the second bedroom on one of the bunk beds which was not as easy as hoped, (sister banged her head and arms when moving) but for one night was manageable. For a family with children this would have been fine. The double bedroom on the first floor was extremely comfortable and roomy. Bathroom is on ground floor, less convenient if you have to get up in the night! We had the option of purchasing the breakfast which was excellent, plentiful and very well priced.
