“Tres bon acceuil. La clé de chambre permet également de rentrer dans l'hôtel. Pratique si on rentre tard. Très bon buffet le matin et le soir. Piscine propre. Cadre très forestier et calme. Le personnel est serviable mais pas toujours très souriant. J'ai plusieurs fois demandé de la glace pour conserver des aliments au frais lors de mes excursions et j'avais l'impression de les embêter, comme si c'était la 1er fois qu'on leur demandait. “Das Hotel bzw. das Zimmer entsprach nicht dem, was ich gebucht hatte: Ich hatte ein (teureres) Businesszimmer gebucht, bekam aber ein heruntergewirtschaftetes Monteurzimmer mit Spinnweben, dreckiger Tischdecke, dreckigem Fußboden, defekter und uralter Inneneinrichtung etc. Die Fenster boten keinen Schallschutz vor dem Lärm der direkt vor dem Haus verlaufenden Hauptverkehrsstraße.
Im Zimmer war geraucht worden.
Check-out war um 9 Uhr und nicht, wie in der Buchung angegeben, um 12 Uhr.”

“We enjoyed all aspects of our stay at this family owned property. The location provides easy access to local attractions and is close to the Autobahn. The accommodations were clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was a tasty selection of breads and various deli-type accompaniments. The staff were friendly and attentive. Grüner Sand met all of our expectations and we intend to stay there again during our next visit to Germany.”

Clean, good breakfast options, have sauna/steam room.
Cons
Check in lady at nightshirt did not speak English and was not happy me booking with Expedia - not direct with hotel.
Price for 1person - 130eur, price for two people - 176eur. I am Hilton Gold Member and I pay 130eur for two peole at 4star hotel (no Hilton hotels nearby hence me booking with this property).
Overall, if no other option available, this is good back up option at slight higher……
