Lovely self contained one bedroom flat on the ground floor with sofa bed in the lounge area offering extra accommodation.

Separate bathroom with bath and shower with heated towel rail

Double bedroom with comfortable bed, feather duvets and squishy pillows. Ample storage with a wardrobe and chest of drawers

Well equipped Open plan kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Oven, hob and microwave cooker

Sitting room area has a comfortable sofa bed and a chair with a large TV and DVD player with an Amazon fire stick giving access to Netflix etc

River Views out of both windows across to Dartmouth

The property is situated a few minutes walk from a very nice coffee shop and The amazing Steampacket pub. The angel pub also do fab Italian pizzas. The ferry terminal is five minutes walk away and is a short hop across to Dartmouth for even more restaurants and shops

Parking

Parking in Dartmouth and Kingswear is always at a premium, but our location does offer many solutions. The most convenient parking is just up the road and around the corner in the next street, but you will need to avoid a couple of one hour slots per day which are reserved for residents (between 10am and 11am and 2pm and 3pm). Outside of these hours parking is free and relatively abundant though you may have a 5 to 10 minute walk back to the apartment. The really good news is that you can park right outside to unload and if you can't find a space anywhere there is a pay car park directly opposite the apartment adjacent to the marina (approx £6-£8 per day depending on the season).

Christmas in Dartmouth

Lovely stay in Kingswear, just a very short ferry ride across the harbour from Dartmouth. Good facilities and comfortable accommodation.

Great location. Parking isn’t brilliant.

Nice flat, short walk to the lower ferry, pubs, nice cafe that serves a great breakfast. The peak parking in the marina is £10 per day, not £8 as stated. You can park around the corner up the hill, but the parking here isn’t ideal. The flat itself was clean, nice owner as well. I’d recommend it.

Super apartment, lovely location.

Easy to find, easy check in. Fantastic communication from property owner. Very clean. Lovely views of the river. Everything we needed for a short break. We mostly ate out as there’s so much choice in Dartmouth. Wonderful stay.

It’s not our first time staying here and it won’t be our last!

Easy to find and access, great views over the river to Dartmouth. Great communication from owner. Clean, lovely towels and bed linen. Everything as you’d expect from listing. Super comfy. Very regular ferries to go over to Dartmouth. Really lovely part of the world with so much to explore on your doorstep.

Well appointed property but...

2nd year we stayed here. However not so good as last year. No hot water except shower. Property obviously not checked over between lettings. Not so clean eg hairs on throw at bottom of bed, washbasin dirty. Washer didn’t work because the handle was broken, toilet seat needs refitting, peddle bin in bathroom not working properly. No instructions whatsoever, eg how cooker oven works, what to do with rubbish. Also important, key collection details need rewording to make sure that clients know the house to collect them from is at the Bottom of the lane, not the top.

Just what we were looking for....

A lovely modern flat with great views, close to all the amenities and easy access to Dartmouth, Brixham and beyond. Well equipped and parking in the marina car park opposite. Would stay again for sure.

Excellent place to explore from!

Apartment just as described. Very easy to find. Access to keys straightforward. Really nice location. Bed and sofa comfy. Lovely linen and towels. We’ve been going to Dartmouth for many years and really love that part of the world. Never stayed in Kingswear before. Would definitely stay in this apartment again.

Lovely clean property with homely touches. Host responded quickly to any questions. Enjoyed being on "quieter" side of the river with easy access across to Dartmouth on the ferry, whilst some great places to eat in Kingswear.

Excellent holiday apartment for 2!

Property was just as illustrated. Very well appointed, new matching furniture , very clean throughout, lovely pictures, and obviously everything chosen with care , thoughtfulness , and attention to detail .Very well equipped and suitable for any time of year. Near to the lower ferry and train, and a good car park nearby. Very good choice.

Great location but ...

We enjoyed our week’s break and the apartment, though very small and without outside space which we knew in advance, was in a great location. Parking was easy, we used the Marina car park. The two pubs just up the road did great food and had a lovely atmosphere. The facilities in the apartment were fine. When we arrived though the apartment smelled musty and damp and the wardrobe had a really unpleasant damp smell throughout our stay. The bedroom was very dusty though bedding clean. The mattress is covered with a rubber sheet and caused lots of perspiration at night. All the owner’s instructions were clear and helpful. On balance it was a good break and the apartment could be even better if some of the issues were addressed.

Family Getaway

The property was beautifully presented with a very clean and welcoming atmosphere. We had no issues at all with accessing the property and found that it was a perfect location for travelling to and from Dartmouth. We will absolutely consider this property in the future.

Nautical theme flat, with views.

Very comfortable ,attractive flat, with lovely views of Dartmouth and river, through masts and shrubs, and even a glimpse of the steam train ,as it puffs off on it's way to Paignton. Very scenic area with plenty to do without driving far (or at all). Easy car parking in Marina ,just over the road, £8 per 24 hours. Most local walks involve steep uphill sections, or long flights of steps, but well worth the effort for glorious river and sea views! Greatly enjoyed our stay, and would/will I hope, come again!

Convenient location

Excellent location for a weekend break. Local pub is great and hopping over time Dartmouth on the ferry is easy. Flat was perfect with all mod cons.

A brilliant find!

We were so impressed with this apartment and its location. The property is very tastefully decorated with lovely furnishings and is very comfortable. It has everything you need and more. Its situation is perfect for hopping on and off the ferry to visit Dartmouth or jumping on the steam train and the views across the water are wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant flat very close to the Dart and water taxis

Lovely bright little flat. Excellent equipped and nicely decorated. Brilliant location if access to the river Dart is needed. Property owner was extremely helpful during the planning period. We will be back. Thanks
