“Room very basic, tired, dated. Smelt like strong bleach. Furniture scuffed. No wardrobe or drawers for clothes. Shower was hot and powerful though”

“Already the premises give out a reassuring feeling of care and comfort. This is then corroborated by the quiet and clean rooms, warm and cosy, along with a spacious breakfast area which presents a good variety of food, replicated for the dining area. All this topped with an ample parking space. Last, but certainly not least, the caring and welcoming staff just make it a must to want to go back.”

“Great location and hotel, a relaxing place to stay. The premisses was kept clean and in great condition. The spa facilities was wonderful, it had a course to follow for a full experience. The room I stayed in was clean and tidy. The interior was not the best, not very modern but satisfactory. Also, need to access the room I stayed by stairs from the first floor so might not be ideal for those with walking difficulties. “We had a one night stay here. V reasonably priced. Super cute and well appointed shepherd hut in the grounds of The Bell Inn, where we had a fab evening meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful too. Couldn’t fault it. Would highly recommend.”

This made it very difficult to read as I am only 5ft 6in tall. This became important as around 8.30pm there was a fire alarm.
