“Ein tolles Hotel mitten in der Natur! Der Service war einfach klasse. Das Team kümmerte sich hervorragend, war super hilfsbereit und erfüllte uns jeden Wunsch! Das Essen im Restaurant war Spitzenklasse. Es gab eine tolle Karte, auf der man immer etwas Neues finden konnte, auch als Vegetarier. Daher haben wir jeden Abend im Hotel gegessen, zu ganz normalen Preisen. Das Frühstück war auch lecker und abwechslungsreich. Dank Sameera (Koch) haben wir jeden Tag vorzüglich gespeist. “This is a lovely boutique villa in a peaceful and quiet location near the 4th tee of the golf course. From the back porch there is a beautiful view of part of the golf course and green-top mountains across Kandy Lake. The villa is well-maintained by Ramya who looked after us from morning to evening. “De lobby was kil en sfeerloos. Overal felwitte spaarlampen. Slechte acoustiek zoals in een grot. De suite was groot en met gigantische terrassen met zicht al om. Het bed was van goede kwaliteit. De afwerking van de suite liet te wensen over. Er waren overweldigend veel knoppen voor de verlichting (wederom witte spaarlampen). De afwerking kon beter. “My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip.
