“Property is a little dated but is in an ideal location. All the staff was helpful and even got us to the airport when we couldn't get a cab or Uber. Everyone was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Will definitely return here”

“Property was purchased by another hotel vendor who also owns Praia Marina Hotel. Upon arrival at Varandas, there is no one there at the reception. You have to walk over to Praia Marina to speak to them, then come back wait for someone to come over to check you in. If you are an elderly person or handicap this is a huge problem. Then on the evening prior to leaving, we went over to Praia Marina because no one was at Varandas, so that we could set up for a taxi to pick us up the following……

“This is an outstanding place to stay in Terceira. The property sits right on the ocean, offering beautiful sunrise views, and its location near the airport is extremely convenient. Parking is easy, both on the property and along the road. We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The staff were polite, attentive, and diligent in their work.
