"What an incredible find in Madagascar. While the property is older, it has the most incredible setting. Booking a superior room is absolutely worth it for the mountain-front views and electricity at all hours. The room itself is massive - the photos online do not do it justice. The bed has a clever mosquito net surrounding the whole "bed room" so you can still move within the net and use the nightstands. The room also has A/C which was fantastic. Didn't even sleep with the curtains closed in...

"This is a great hotel and the staff are very welcoming. We had a very nice dinner with generous portion. The room is on solar so you need to shower in the evening, but good hot water supply. We had a problem when checking out as we had paid on booking by credit card which apparently is not accepted by the hotel and they wanted us to pay again and claim back from hotels.com. This needs urgent attention as it places the reception staff in a difficult situation and sours the experience."
