"Fabulous unexpected treasure of a hotel. We stayed in the main hotel which was perfect for us as it was close to bar and restaurant. There were shuttles to take you to the beach or it was just a short downhill walk. Good in the restaurants was excellent and the complimentary breakfast was delicious "

"The breakfast spot on the first floor, Caroline's was amazing... and the coffee spot. VI Coffee Roasters on the corner of the building was really exceptionally good! Had a great stay at the King Christian in large part due to their renovations and upgrades and also just the GREAT staff! Looking forward to our next visit."

"The condo was just as described, right on the water and had a great sunrise view every morning. The complex was quiet and well maintained. We had a wonderful time. It's location couldn't be beat, a little outside of town, but still close to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the pool and had a great time exploring the island. Parking for the rental car was convenient, as it was directly outside the walkway to the condo. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to St. Croix. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!"

"We stayed in coral room which is in a courtyard very safe with digital locks for room and courtyard at night! Turquoise blue shallow water right across the street for snorkeling/swimming. On site restaurant and bar was great and other dining options in any direction walkable. Plenty of local history and the people you meet are super friendly!"

"The rooms look exactly like the pictures. The staff is so sweet and accommodating! I loved everything about my stay and would definitely come back. The only issue is it’s far away from everything but if you rent a car that solves that problem. We choose not to and the staff gave us a variety of cab services in the area which were also extremely nice and pleasant. It was amazing. "

"Our stay at Cottages By The Sea was absolutely amazing! This quaint little complex is a crown jewel of St. Croix. The staff was very friendly and it is a very calm and relaxing environment with pristine beach access. We stayed in the Crow's nest in which our second level porch overlooking the sea was breathtaking. We will absolutely be coming back!"

"This place is absolutely amazing, especially the location. Waking up to that beautiful beach every day was magical. We loved snorkeling every day. Between the beach at the house, Rainbow Beach, and the pier; we saw sea turtles, all kinds of tropical fish, octopus, eels, crabs, iguanas, southern stingrays, and a spotted eagle ray. It was wonderful.We ate incredible food (Tail End, Alba's, Chicken Shack, Polly's, Lost Dog Pub, & Rhythms).We snorkeled the reef at Buck Island (Caribbean Sea Adventures) and saw even more and bigger colorful fish, more rays, and barracudas. The bioluminescent bay kayak tour with Bush Tribe was incredible.We toured the nearby (walking distance) Prosperity Farms Distillery where we tasted fresh sugar cane and their wide variety of products. Very impressive grounds and facility, and extremely kind folks.The house had everything we needed, and the ACs kept it nice and cool. Sharifa was a great host.Just an amazing island with lovely people. We absolutely cannot wait to go back!"

"David’s home is perfectly situated with more privacy than anticipated. There is greenery and eco-forest on one side and trees blocking neighbors on the other. We enjoyed the pool and shore with our 5 and 7 year old kids. David provided helpful information in a welcome book. Peaceful stay. "

"The property was gorgeous, and the accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The experience was perfect, and the host was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Unfortunately, the sargassum came in earlier than expected so we were unable to use the private beach to swim but still able to sit outside and enjoy the island breeze. There were plenty of other beaches in close proximity to enjoy and we thoroughly encourage others to make sure they do a trip to Buck Island. My daughter and I snorkeled the barrier reef and it was unbelievable!! We will definitely be back!!!!"

"This is a beautiful location right on the ocean and very central to activities on the island. Chad and Emily were there to greet us, offered us great suggestions as to how to enjoy the island, and even made us delicious cookies upon our arrival.The cottage is well-appointed and very clean. The space is very private and separate from the main house. We enjoyed golfing, snorkeling and hiking on the island, and we would certainly recommend this cottage to couples who just want to get away! Enjoy the ocean breeze and the beach! "

"Every single person on the staff was helpful and welcoming. This recently-renovated property is right on the ocean. Even though we visited past peak season (so it wasn't busy) we were treated so well by the staff. Food and drinks were top-notch. They have Japanese food on the weekend, and really good sanwiches, pizza, etc. in the bar. I will miss the cool, spacious room and the view from the balcony. Far east end of the island about 35 minutes from airport/Christiansted; very quiet. The fresh paint and murals serve up island character. Nice pool. They care for the resident cats very well too! If you are disabled, you should know that the elevator does not yet work, though there may be ground-level accessible accommodations."
