“After check-in we were taken up several stairs to the assigned room which was at the back of the hotel. We are OAP, 80 plus and 75!
The room was like a sauna as no air conditioning had been turned on.
The toilet could not be flushed as the toilet tank was empty!
The TV had a 'million' channels, but after pressing the buttons for 2 hours we gave up and went to bed!
Second day - I demanded a change of room, with explanation.
The young lady at the front desk was empathitic and kindly moved us……

But that said, there were some design and layout aspects of the room (hut) where we stayed that are quite uncomfortable and could even be downright dangerous. We stayed in a 2 level hut. “My husband and I stayed in a 1 BR ocean view villa at Frenchman’s Cove Beach Resort. The views from the villa were spectacular. The villa was very spacious, however we couldn’t enjoy the space because there was only 1 ac unit and it was located in the bedroom. Whenever we showered, we would be sweating before we could get out of the bathroom. The villa is poorly maintained. The bathroom door knob was falling off and does not close. The kitchen sink had caked on grime as if it hadn’t been cleaned……
