"I liked the low cost of a one night stay but ended up paying a little extra to stay somewhere else after I checked into my room. The odour of the whole hotel was musky and damp, including the room. I was told no cleaners were going to be in for a few hours, by that time I was ready to leave. Dark room with same moldy smell, smoke detector not installed (left on night stand). "Overall, our hosts Francois and Wynn were very welcoming and helpful with local amenities. The breakfasts that were presented were both nutritious and gourmet delicious. We found our bed a little too firm after the first night, so Wynn cheerfully added a “topper” for comfort. Our bedroom was upstairs, which was okay for us but might have proved challenging for some guests. The bathroom amenities were very satisfactory but the towels and bath mat were tired. "I loved how warm and welcoming the hosts are. The surrounding gardens are spectacular, while the views are amazing. The home's private and personalized atmosphere creates a perfect place to rest and relax in. Spacious with cozy nooks with lots of attention to details. A place one will look forward to returning to.
