“Every thing ran smoothly host was both on hand when we needed then as we had a problem with the drains in the shower .over all it’s a very small cottage for 2 people .Ideal for one night stay but we were there 4 nights .check out there other cottages we saw inside one they are lovely spacious better for a 4 night stay .area is ideal for Thornton le dale Pickering Whitby Robin Hood bay .Didnt think much to Scarborough”

“Well equipped and clean within a short walk of the sea front, and the city centre maybe just a few hanging points for your jackets to hang…”

“Really lovely beachfront property with a balcony over the beach. Check in was easy as was parking and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It’s a great location and the apartments are really nice. Would recommend.”

“Cosy private apartment with everything you need plus a few extra touches, the flowers on the table made it very homely. We arrived during a snowstorm and were extremely grateful to be given an unexpected early check in Thank-you very much Peter ”

“A very cosy little house. It is in a great location for the North Bay end of Scarborough which is where we wanted to be. It is a short 10 minute walk through a small housing estate down a hill and you are on the beach. The house is really well equipped, with loads of kitchen utensils, it has wifi, a comfy bed, a brand new bathroom, two parking spaces and even a hairdryer. I would definitely recommend”

“When we arrived there was no heating, within an hour of reporting it a plumber had come out, electric heaters were provided as it couldn’t be fixed straight away. Very efficient service. Apartment great location near facilities, very clean only downside is sofa bed in lounge really is not comfortable for sleeping on, you could feel the springs through the mattress.”

“Our stay at the Scarborough penthouse recently was brilliant. We went for my birthday and it couldn’t have been more special, easy to find and parking just outside. On arrival we took the lift and it opens up straight into the apartment giving it a very classy feel. The lovely open plan living room and kitchen was very clean and comfortable. The two bedrooms were large and beautifully set out. The best bit for us was the balcony with seating area and sea view. Overall all had a fantastic stay.……

“The apartment was furnished and decorated to a very high spec with lots of tech gadgets. Cooling fans in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances of good quality. The bed which was high end with a Tempur mattress was firm. It might suit some guests but for us it was too firm. A few too many air fresheners! We are sorry to say that the sofas weren’t comfy in particular the sofa bed again too firm even though we appreciated they were of a high standard being Italian leather.”

“Only thing wrong was we didn’t stay long enough. We loved this little cottage. It’s a beautiful little home away from home. Whitby was fantastic as well. Wish we’d known ahead of time how much we would love it so we could have booked a longer stay.”

“Great location. Plenty of room. Good views from room. Everything you need in thus apartment. Well priced. Central for all the bars and restaurants literally 2 mins walk away also not far from train station..we parked in the Marina car park which was about a 10 min walk. All good. Thanks for a pleasant stay”

“Tried to give five stars across the board but the app won’t let me for some reason it’s stuck! We had a really great time at this property . It was very comfy with everything we needed. Lovely location to walk and relax in and also for visiting other areas. Would definitely recommend this property ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Puffin Pad. Clean, well equipped, very friendly owners, we felt we coukd contact them if necessary. Our only grumble was 2 family members rented houses on The Bay that were only very slightly more expensive than the flat but that wouldn't put us off renting it again. Many thanks for a great stay.”

“Spotless apartment lovely location enjoyed every minute slept every night too enjoyed little gift pack that was left out for us no faults thankyou ”
