Comfortable bed. Refrigerator is small but kept clean. Bathroom has floor tiles ,however the shower area is wide open & water spills out ( walk carefully to avoid falling ) there’s a safe but it is not bolted down & can be easily moved. The bathroom door has keys but doesn’t lock. TV works great . Small balcony but nice & clean. Closet is big & clean . When we booked on Expedia it says the hotel provides a shuttle : #1 , we emailed 3 times no , response . Called & spoke to staff. Staff said there will a shuttle…. it is a taxi driver ( Raymond Diop ) directed us to talk Bernard ( staff in charge ) he didn’t give us the price from Dakar airport to Hotel Residence Khadija. Raymond took me to buy supplies ( second trip ) drop us back to the airport for a grand total of $100\. We sincerely believe we over paid & they ( Bernard & Raymond ) never offered to make it right . The food was excellent. Kitchen staff need customer service training, they seemed timid & no warm welcome/smiles. I had fish Yassa ,that I will recommend. The pool is beautiful & clean with an outdoor shower to rinse off . There was a conference going on with folks speaking into a loudspeaker fairly late & early in the morning. Made it hard to rest/sleep. Reception/front desk was good . The hotel is fairly close to the airport ,which makes it an ideal place to stay if you are on transit. Wouldn’t mind stay here but will have to see some tangible improvements.
