“This was an absolutely magical stay in Baños by the roaring river Pastaza. I really wished that I could have stayed more than one night! The views were amazing, and I would have surely loved to take more advantage of the hammock on the balcony! Hospitality and host great and accommodating too, with parking available, highly recommended! ”

“It's a hostel, not a hotel, so if your expectations are set appropriately, this is a superb find. A bit out of town - 15 mins walk downhill into town and a $1.50 taxi ride home - but nestled at the foot of the mountains. So much nicer than the hundreds of hostels surrounded by karaoke bars near the bus station in town. Run by the nicest, most obliging family. A fabulous breakfast included. Recommended most highly.”

“We had the pleasure of staying at La Posada del Arte for three nights in mid-August during our family trip to Ecuador. Our group included an 8-year-old and parents in their 90s, so finding accommodations that could suit a wide range of needs was important — and this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We booked our stay about a month in advance and drove down from Quito. We were happy to find ample street parking available directly outside the hotel at all hours of the day. From the……
