“I chose this hotel to be near the racecourse. It is 30sec away. There is one even nearer but it is a Holiday Inn Express. Potential guests should understand this is an 'unstaffed' hotel. No kitchen, no meals and no concierge. You have a keypad for the main door and another one for your room. You let yourself in and out. And there is a machine where you can leave a tip! The building appears to have been converted from a large terraced house in a side street. The quality of my room was very……

“overall, premier inn chester is good, facilities are new and clean. just when stepping in the room, I found cookie wrapper is left at the corner.”

“Really central location for visiting and exploring Chester. Nice rooms, helpful staff and nice breakfast. Music does go on till 11 at weekends but it’s turned down around 10”

“All good on arrival , room not ready so went for a drink, back at 15.00 room ready(320) looked great but stank of sewage, wife complained ( I can't speak), relocated to room 220, nice room, spotless. All ok until shower time, only one towel, wife complained again, rectified. Went for dinner, all good except tables in bar area not cleaned and had debris on them. Sat down to dinner, ordered food and bottle of chateau neuf de pap, food came, no wine, didn't have any neuf de pap, ordered……
