If you're looking for a "luxury" place, that would be in Vernal, UT., not Dinosaur My assumption: this place was a hotel and it's being flipped into a VRBO by adding kitchens to the rooms. The work isn't done yet. There were cables/wires coming out of the walls, lights that weren't working, dirty floors, and the dishes in the kitchen all had a thick cover of dust. The room was supposed to have a/c, but it didn't, and that area gets very hot for much of the year. The work isn't done yet. There were cables/wires coming out of the walls, lights that weren't working, dirty floors, and the dishes in the kitchen all had a thick cover of dust. The room was supposed to have a/c, but it didn't, and that area gets very hot for much of the year. I called the mgr to ask about the a/c and they thought it had been installed. While I was in Dinosaur NP on day 2, someone came out and installed a window a/c in the kitchen, which was appreciated, but they left the kitchen counters and stove covered w/ dust and debris from their work. I knew where I was and I wasn't expecting luxury, but this place wasn't ready. That said, the mgr was receptive and helpful, and this place was far better than camping in the hot, dusty, and windy area that describes this entire part of the country." Nice gathering place to eat and play games. I realize I didn’t take places of the house but of the surroundings. It was a quiet restful place, clean and we had quick response from the owners when we had questions. The whole family said they’d like to book it again.
